Description

INBRACE is an invisible orthodontic solution that combines the effectiveness of conventional braces, the aesthetics of lingual braces, and the comfort and ease of Invisalign all in a single appliance. We use a programmable shape memory alloy technology to deliver treatment that is faster, more effective, more hygienic, and more profitable than any current solution. The team has won 1st place in three competitions: USC Greif Center Entrepreneurs Competition, USC MEPC Competition, and Ideas Empowered Competition.

In the U.S. alone, revenue from orthodontic patients amounts to $25B annually. However, patients face tough tradeoffs when choosing a solution. Standard braces are effective and cheap, but unsightly. Invisalign gives off a more invisible appearance, but involves multiple tray changes per month and can only treat limited cases. INBRACE is a “behind-the-teeth” option that is not only aesthetic, but also convenient, hassle free, and does not inhibit you from continuing to live your life. INBRACE has partnered with over 200 of the nation’s top tier orthodontists for clinical testing and product evaluation. Clinical trials have begun to treat children with cleft lip and palate at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

INBRACE is led by a highly capable cross functional team, and an advisory board consisted of the dental field’s top clinicians, engineers, and entrepreneurs. Since MedTech Innovator, we have raised $5.6M in capital to complete our clinical testing and to bring us to commercialization.
